Learning Support with Personality
I’m Louise — an academic and research librarian who’s spent 20+ years helping students feel smarter, braver, and way less stressed about study. After a 17‑year break from hitting the books myself, I jumped back in as an international student in Australia in 2024… and somehow ended up winning CISWA’s International VET Student of the Year award in 2025. Wild, but wonderful.
My favourite thing is helping people go from “I have no idea what I’m doing” to “Oh wow, I can do this.” If you’re wrestling with a literature review, decoding an assignment brief, or trying to figure out which sources are actually trustworthy, I’m here with clarity, encouragement, and a dash of sparkle. My approach is friendly, culturally aware, and grounded in lived experience — because I’ve been the overwhelmed student, too.
